Project General Description
A grant agreement between the Bank and ATAF was established to study the current state of tax policies and systems in Africa; support the legal establishment of ATAF and contribute to the initial council meeting in Tunis in 2009. In this regard, the Bank’s strategic partnership with ATAF has strengthened the domestic resources mobilization, fiscal self-reliance and capacity development agenda in Africa. In this regard, ATAF has succeeded in increasing its profile and attracting other development partners in line with the OECD’s DAC recommendation to support ATAF.
