The present programme is relative to the Holistic Social Business Movement in Tunisia. It aims to support incubation and investment in social enterprises, training and coaching, building the capacity of key stakeholders to enable a socially friendly ecosystem for social enterprises to grow and broaden its impact beneficial. The programme has three main components, namely: (i) capacity building of government and other key stakeholders in support of social enterprises; (ii) support for the incubation of social enterprises and investment; and (iii) program management.
The objective of the programme is to promote social business development as a response to high unemployment and poverty in Tunisia, especially among the youth.
Target groups include youth, women and other key stakeholders (government, private sector, service providers and local communities), especially those from less developed regions.
