This intervention focuses on the third phase of the Souk At-Tanmia Project (SAT). The project aims to fight against the pressing problem of unemployment that meets Tunisia. It was launched by the African Development Bank (AfDB) in collaboration with several partners (Technical and Financial Partners (TFP), Public and Private Sector Entities, Civil Society Organizations and Academic Institutions). The initiative took the form of a partnership that leverages the expertise, network and resources of the various partners. Building on this structure and diversity of partners, the SAT initiative provides funding and non-financial assistance to selected entrepreneurs. This third edition aims to support 110 new companies and create 1000 jobs by 2022.
SAT's goal is to provide underserved entrepreneurs with integrated support by helping them to start or grow their own businesses.
The main beneficiaries are a large part of the populations of Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia, especially the young and the disadvantaged.
