The present project concerns the strengthening of primary, secondary and training education in rural areas. It’s part of the Government's priority objectives for the qualitative reinforcement of rural, primary and secondary education. It should make it possible to train young farmers and peasants in the field of agriculture and to train primary and secondary school pupils by: 1) construction and equipment of 18 three-unit scientific laboratories with stores in 18 secondary schools; 2) drilling of 150 boreholes in 150 primary schools and the provision of agricultural production equipment to these schools; 3) support for 11 districts and 5 CPRs with a capacity of 100 student farmers, the drilling of 80 boreholes, rehabilitation of 55 CFJAs and 3 CPRs, supply of agricultural equipment, furniture and collective training end equipment. The project includes the following components: 1) primary schools, 2) scientific laboratories, and 3) executive office for the Ministry of National Education; then (i) support to 11 districts, (ii) support to the 5 CPRs, and (iii) support to the executive office for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock.
The project aims to improve the training of young farmers and peasants in agriculture and the training of primary and secondary school students in Burkina Faso.
The main beneficiaries of the project are young farmers and peasants in the field of agriculture and students in general in Burkina Faso.
