The present project is related to Institutional Capacity Building Support for Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Promotion (PARCEJ). It was designed by the Burundian Government with the support of the Fragile States Facility (FSF) of the African Development Bank Group. The project comprises three components. These include: (i) support to the Ministry of Public Service, Labor, and Social Security, (ii) support to the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Culture, and (iii) project management.
The overall objective of the project is to support Government efforts in the areas of employment promotion and entrepreneurship, including youth. It targets for this purpose the Ministry of Public Service, Labor, and Social Security, the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Culture, as well as the technical structures placed under the supervision of these ministries.
The final beneficiaries of the project are the Burundian populations, especially young people.
