The technical assistance project to develop national skills for support to growth-enhancing sectors aims to support the Congolese Government’s efforts to implement its skills development programme. It's part of the Government's development strategy the main objective of which is to develop human resources and promote a responsive administration. The Bank's assistance under this pillar focus, among other things, on the development and enhancement of the country's socio-economic situation. The real duration of the project is 3 years. It's comprises the two following components: A) Technical Assistance (TA) for the preparation of skills and human resources development; B) Technical assistance (TA) for preparation of the Congolese civil service professions directory.
The sectoral objective of the project is to contribute to the development of skills and human resources in Congo. More specifically, the project consists of: (i) supporting the Government in the preparation of the Skills and Human Resources Development Project; and (ii) support the Government in the development of the inter-ministerial trades and skills directory in the public administration.
The beneficiaries of the project are: the Congolese Government, the agents and civil servants of the state.
