The Socioeconomic Data Structure Support Project (PASED) was initiated by the Government of Djibouti to strengthen its institutional and operational capacity. The proposed intervention is to strengthen the capacity of the Statistics and Demographic Studies Direction (DISED) and the Economy Direction, two structures in charge of the development and exploitation of socio-economic data through the financing of their activities. The project comprises three components, namely: (i) support for macroeconomic management, public sector management and planning; ii) support for the strengthening of the national statistical system; and iii) support for project management.
The main objective of the project is to assist the Government of Djibouti to strengthen its institutional and operational capacities in the development of socio-economic data.
