This intervention focuses on the Public Works Pilot Project for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Employment. It responds to the Government's concern to promote the local private sector particularly that of the construction companies MEPs, to combat unemployment by creating jobs in the construction sector. The project should contribute to improving the living conditions and family well-being of residents and promoting BEPs. In addition, it is the first step in PROTOTIPPEE, which aims to ensure the sustainability of this type of operation by setting up the appropriate management structures and procedures. The project comprises the following components: A) Capacity building of stakeholders; B) Construction of typical neighborhood infrastructures; C) ongoing monitoring / evaluation of the project; and D) implementation of PROTOTIPPEE.
The objective of the project is to promote micro and small construction companies as part of the improvement of infrastructure in disadvantaged neighborhoods.
The main beneficiaries of the project are micro and small construction companies.
