The project consists of renovation of pressing plant at Denton Bridge, construction of storage and ancillary works at Kaur and Denton Bridge, the acquisition and installation of power plants, improving the wharf, provision of cyclones to the decorticating machines, provision of vehicles and office equipment, and consultancy services for detailed engineering and supervision.

Project Objectives

The project aims at improving groundnut handling and decorticating facilities at Kaur, and handling, decorticating and milling facilities at Denton Bridge. It should remove bottlenecks increase efficiency, and make it possible to increase throughput from 40,000 tons to 65,000 tons of undecorticated groundnuts in the existing oil mill.
