The main issue is Government's decision on the utilisation of the loan balance of UA 246,696. A decision is awaited since April 1994 when it was agreed with a Bank mission that the Borrower should send details of the rehabilitation works on the old treatment plant to be carried out using these funds. An tentative quotation has been obtained from a the supplier of the plant of UA 184,000 approximately for the necessary rehabiltation of the works. This estimate shall be revised when the supplier carries out a site assessment of the works to be carried out. Final details on this are expected in the Bank by middle of September 1994.
