Project General Description

The Government of Kenya (GoK) has adopted the “Big Four” (B4) agenda in a bid to address the country’s primary development challenge, namely the slow pace structural transformation, and to realize its Vision 2030 goal of graduating into an industrialized upper middle-income economy.The B4 agenda is a bold initiative to drive transformation over the five-year Medium Term Planning period ‘2018-2022’. The project Technical Assistance to Enhance the Capacity of the President’s Delivery Unit (PDU) covers a period from 2018 - 2020 and a total cost of UA1,787,600. It focuses on four mutually reinforcing priorities: food security, manufacturing, affordable housing and affordable health care and is structured into two components (i) Technical Assistance for improved coordination and delivery tracking (ii) Knowledge-sharing.

Project Objectives

The overall objective of the Project is to enhance the capability of the President Delivery Unit to drive implementation of the targeted B4.
