The Economic and Social Reform Program (PRES) is about putting in place the conditions for strong and balanced economic growth in Morocco. The PRES is structured around the four components: (i) establishment of a viable medium-term macroeconomic framework, (ii) public sector reform, (iii) private sector development, and (iv) poverty reduction and human resource development. The program is financed by the ADB in the amount of 348.735 million Dirhams Moroccan, about 149 MUC and the World Bank (BM) up to 250 MUSD.
The goal of the PRES is to create the conditions for strong economic growth, generating jobs and to gradually reduce the accumulated social deficits in recent years, while respecting the requirements of achieving internal and external financial balances.
The program will benefit directly to the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco.
