The present intervention relates to the Project for the Rehabilitation of Four Rural Health Facilities. The project aims to contribute to the improvement of the health situation of the population. It plans to renovate and expand four middle-level health facilities, equipment and staff training. In addition, it implements Bank Group policy in the sector through the renovation of various levels of health facilities. The project is also part of the health services pyramid and also responds to the Government's priorities to make existing structures operational. The project has five main components, namely: (i) Gao Regional Hospital, (ii) Ansongo Circle Health Center, (iii) Bourem Circle health center, (iv) health center. the Gourma-Rharous circle, and (v) Project Implementation Unit (PIU).
The project aims to help the government improve the health care delivery system in rural areas.
The main beneficiaries of the project are the populations of the areas concerned, namely: Gao, Ansongo, Bourem and Gourma-Rharous.
