Project Objective is to I) strenthen the institutional set up, updgrade managerial and technical capabilites of Bank staff through providing technical assistance and training programme; ii) to enhance the future lending operations of Bank of Mozambique following the trasfer to functions from the privatised BPD to BOM in January 13, 1999 and to enable BOM to play a more effective and meaningful role in the economy in coordinating all the the inflow of funds in the economy.
