The present intervention is related to the capacity building project of the Ministry for the Promotion of Women. It's designed to strengthen the capacity of the Ministry through the training of its staff and equipment. More specifically, through this project, it aims to: (i) train: the senior staff of the Directorate General of Gender and Promotion of Women, the four National Technical Directorates and the six Regional Directorates of the Ministry in charge of gender-responsive planning, programming and monitoring and evaluation; (ii) equip: the General Directorate for Gender and the Promotion of Women, the three National Technical Departments and the six Regional Directorates of the Ministry, particularly in computer hardware, the Internet, to make the use of computer the internet and reduce the time taken to process information and rolling stock in order to facilitate travel in remote geographical areas or where terrain is very rough for field activities; (iii) recruit: three consultants (two national and one international) to provide capacity building; (iv) help to mainstream gender in national decision-making bodies; and (v) develop a communication plan for mobilizing resources for the implementation of actions.
The objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity of the Ministry for the Promotion of Women.
The main beneficiary of the project is the Ministry for the Promotion of Women.
