The project to support the design of an industrial and innovation policy (NPII) is part of the transformation strategies of its economic model to make Tunisia a regional hub with high added value. The project was designed with the aim of revitalizing industrial activity in the country and strengthen its contribution to the achievement of national priorities, namely the creation of sustainable jobs and the development of priority regions, increased exports, innovation and technological development and the acceleration of the rate of economic growth. It has the following components: (i) Industrial Policy and National Innovation System (SNI) Assessment; (ii) Development and / or updating of industrial policy and NIS (including action plan and costing); (iii) Support to project management, communication and dissemination.
This project has the following main objectives: (a) Define and formalize a new industrial and innovation policy for Tunisia; (b) Develop and implement an international communication plan.
The main beneficiary of the project is the Government of the Republic of Tunisia.
