Economic benefits that are likely to accrue from financing the sub-projects to be financed from the proposed Bank LOC to MCB will include: (i) Regional integration; (b) encourage regional foreign direct investments leading to expertise in the region being made available to other regional member countries; (c) employment creation in those sub-sectors that will benefit from the LOC; (d) foreign exchange earnings by expor oriented enterprises; (e) development of an environmentally aware enterpreneurs which could lead to sustainable development in the Bank's regional member countries, etc.
